MinacNed/FHI are preparing the fifth International Fact Finding and Match Making Trip.
In addition to the previous visits to Germany and Switzerland, MinacNed/FHI are organizing an international networking event September 11th till 13th, partly linked to the Basel Life Science Week.
The visit in 2016 was very successful. For Axxicon/Helvoet, one of the participating companies, it was the start for collaboration with a big diagnostic company.
The goal of the visit is to introduce Dutch companies to international companies and institutes, with a strong focus on R & D in Life Science and Pharmacy.
The Basel region is known as the Swiss pharma hub with over 25.000 employees. Besides the big companies as Roche and Novartis, there are hundreds of small and medium sized companies specialized in research and development for the pharmaceutical industry.
Because of it’s geographical location, Basel has strong ties with the South of Germany and North-East of France. Also Zurich with it’s important research centres like ETH Zurich and IBM Research is only a one hour drive away.
The networking event in September will be a meet-up with different international networks. In preparing the trip, we are supported by the people and companies we met during the previous visits, so we can mobilize the right network.
